Non-metallic gaskets

Our overview is intended to help you in your selection of suitable sealing grades for your application.

Data provided regarding pressure and temperature are only standard values, which can also be exceeded depending on individual installation circumstances but usually must be set at a lower level. In no event must both maximum values (pressure and temperature) be present at the same time.

The values provided in the table are primarily manufacturer data and refer mostly to a reference thickness of 2 mm.
If different grades are available, you will find manufacturer data sheets stored in PDF format, for the contents of which we cannot assume any responsibility.

In some cases data relating to temperature in the overview table were set lower than provided in the manufacturer data sheets. In general it should be noted that depending on sealing grade and installation circumstance, the binder material of elastomer-bonded gaskets may lose its properties starting at 120°C.

For your own safety, with your enquiries you should always provide information on your operating conditions (pressure, temperature, medium) as well as installation circumstances.

Prior to selecting a gasket grade, we recommend consultation on technical aspects of gaskets, which we will be happy to provide. The existing information in our brochures cannot replace a consultation which covers all boundary conditions. For this reason, no warranty claims of any kind can be deduced for the gasket selection based on brochure information.
